About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Cleanaway, based across the Sydney Metro area. As a Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance services on trucks, trailers, and heavy mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
- Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly
- Ensure all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly
- Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Engineering – Automotive Mechanical
- A strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
