Chief Procurement Operations Manager

This is a key position within the procurement operations team, driving cost savings, innovation, and ESG opportunities.
The Procurement Operations Business Partner will be responsible for:
- Acting as the primary point of contact between Procurement and operational stakeholders across factories and distribution centers in ANZ.
- Ensuring on-time and in-full delivery of all materials to plant operations by suppliers, minimizing supply disruptions.
- Translating sales and production forecasts to suppliers, ensuring alignment with long-term capacity and capability planning.
- Leading collaboration between Procurement Category Management and Operations teams to drive cost savings, innovation, and ESG opportunities.
- Monitoring supplier performance, managing supplier relationships, and supporting supply risk mitigation and security planning.
- Participating in planning meetings to align supply strategies with business needs and production efficiency goals.
- Developing and monitoring inventory management strategies to optimize working capital and cash flow.
- Supporting the execution of category strategies and value creation projects in partnership with Procurement and Operations leadership.
Requirements:
- A proactive team player with a growth mindset, open to knowledge sharing and fostering a positive work environment.
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of contract development, implementation, and supplier relationship management.
- Proficiency in procurement systems, inventory management, and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on time management and prioritization.
- Experience in resolving invoice discrepancies and supporting procurement strategy implementation.
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
- Eligibility to work in Australia – with full working rights.
