Job Title: Junior Corrosion Technician

About Our Team:

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team of corrosion prevention engineers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cathodic protection and related fields, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities include conducting field audits, pipeline surveys, routine testing, installation, and maintenance of cathodic protection systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, implementing necessary repairs and improvements, and keeping accurate records of all work performed.

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or equivalent working rights in Australia
  • Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or related field (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
  • Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites
