Parts Interpreter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team at our Cannington branch. As a key member of our Parts Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and identify parts required for equipment maintenance and repair
  • Utilize company software to enter data, including invoices, receivals, quotes, purchase orders, and more
  • Work closely with the Brooks Equipment team to improve parts and inventory systems
  • Order and receipt parts as required
  • Pickup and delivery of parts as needed
  • Conduct inventory control, including monthly stocktakes
  • Organize and distribute parts
  • Assist managers and staff with ad-hoc duties
  • Provide relief support for the parts department as required
  • Offer exceptional customer support
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure all operations comply with environmental and occupational health and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of earthmoving machinery is advantageous
  • Manual C-Class Driver's License
  • Forklift License required
  • Understanding of parts management processes
  • Ability to read and interpret exploded parts diagrams
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • NetSuite software experience is desirable but not essential
