Data Center Capacity Optimization Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support various infrastructure programs/projects specifically focusing on capacity optimization. As our business is growing rapidly, we are aggressively expanding our infrastructure footprint globally. At the same time, we are making great efforts to drive efficiency in using our existing data center assets and optimize usage of capacity.
This role will focus on building processes and mechanisms from identifying optimization opportunities in our data center infrastructure, validating, cost analysis, and driving the optimization program execution. Also, this position will drive cycle time reduction of the program execution by streamlining processes & communication between stakeholders and removing any blockers to execute faster.
The location of this position is preferred to be in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore or Tokyo, while we can consider other locations within APAC where AWS infrastructure footprint is already exist.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate programs/projects to improve our capacity utilization and drive the programs to be successfully completed.
- Interact with different teams responsible for engineering, data center operations, finance, business development.
- Develop dashboards/tools to update progress and report out the program status to leadership on a regular basis.
Requirements
Requirements- 7+ years of leading technical programs.
- Proficient in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering, or similar engineering or technical product development.
- Experience analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Experience communicating and briefing senior executives.
- Experience with program management methodologies.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, ambiguous work environment.
