About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Merchandising Manager to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our digital merchandising team, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital merchandising strategy and roadmap to drive strong commercial outcomes and merchandising improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the digital merchandising roadmap and backlog to support the delivery of commercial plans and merchandising improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape initiatives and ensure commercial plans are delivered, providing commercial guidance to meet key business financial metrics.
  • Develop and nurture strong partnerships both internally and externally to achieve results.
  • Contribute to building team digital and commercial capability by coaching and developing the team to take digital insights and convert them into actionable plans.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally in buying/trading/digital merchandising or product management, with a strong understanding of category management, activation, retail operations, and digital.
  • Horizontal leadership ability, preferably in an agile/matrix operating model.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, establish, and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
  • Clear understanding of commercial and strong business acumen.
  • Strong storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work through complex problems and data, understand the cause, develop solutions, and seek continual improvement.
