Full-time Solar Equipment Technician position available with a competitive salary. This role is essential for delivering high-quality installations and maintenance of solar energy systems.

Current Opening:

This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
  1. Analyze technical drawings and specifications for the installation of electronic equipment and solar energy systems.
  2. Install solar panels on various structures, ensuring secure mounting, proper connections to inverters, and optimal alignment for energy efficiency.
  3. Identify and resolve issues with solar panels, inverters, or electrical components, performing necessary repairs and troubleshooting wiring problems.
  4. Conduct electrical wiring tasks, connecting solar panels to inverters, batteries, and the electrical grid while adhering to safety standards.
  5. Perform thorough testing to confirm the solar system operates correctly, monitoring voltage, current, and overall system performance under different conditions.
  6. Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs, tracking system performance and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. At least two years of experience in a similar position.
  2. Relevant qualifications in the field are preferred.
  3. Strong technical understanding of electronic systems and equipment.
  4. Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic systems effectively.
  5. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and other tradespeople.
  6. Willingness to travel for work as required.
Salary:

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
