Job Summary

Cyber security engineers play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital presence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive cyber security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage SIEM systems to provide real-time visibility into our environments.
  • Respond promptly to security alerts, identifying and eradicating threats as they emerge.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and remediate identified vulnerabilities where necessary.
  • Implement security controls aligned with industry standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Educate colleagues on their cyber security responsibilities, promoting a culture of awareness and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical IT role with a focus on security.
  • Experience working with Microsoft environments (M365, Azure, etc.) and security tools like Sentinel, Splunk, and Tenable.
  • A passion for learning and professional development, matched by an employer committed to supporting continuous growth.
  • A background working with customers in an MSP environment, demonstrating ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for federal security clearance are mandatory for this position.
