Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and incident response.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct proactive threat hunts across a large-scale network to identify and mitigate potential threats.
    • Leverage Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) to strengthen hunting activities and improve overall security posture.
    • Develop and maintain detection tools, use cases, and dashboards to support threat hunting efforts.
    • Build and refine threat hypotheses based on adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
    • Analyze security events and logs to identify anomalous activity and provide actionable insights.
    • Recommend enhancements and countermeasures to improve cyber defense capabilities.

Requirements:

The following qualifications are required for this role:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cyber Security Incident Responder or Threat Hunter.
  • Strong proficiency in log analysis and threat detection with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
  • Demonstrated use of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK in incident response or threat hunting.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and testing detection use cases.
  • Collaborative team player with strong knowledge-sharing skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Desirable Qualifications:

The following qualifications are desirable for this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Cyber Security, Microsoft, or Splunk.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA.
