The Accommodation Support Worker will play a vital role in providing structured support, assessment, and referral to young people and their children within the program. This includes assisting with accessing appropriate accommodation options, particularly youth housing, family reconciliation, private rental, and public housing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide case management services to young people and their families, including assessment, planning, and coordination of support.
- Assist with accessing and maintaining accommodation options, including youth housing, family reconciliation, private rental, and public housing.
- Work collaboratively with other service providers to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting young people.
- Develop and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support and advocacy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Youth Work, or a related community services field.
- Experience in working with homeless young people and their families.
- Strong understanding of case management principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other service providers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
