Position Summary:

As an experienced Accountant, you will be working as part of a team of accountants while reporting directly to both the Management team and Partners.

You will be predominantly working as a Business Services Accountant and SMSF Accountant, where you will be responsible for financial accounts, tax compliance, and SMSF compliance matters while developing your business advisory skills for a wide range of clients.

In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work with a variety of clients of various structures, including companies, partnerships, and trusts, predominately SME's, and SMSF's, but you will also be given exposure to larger and more complex client groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial accounts preparation and management
  • Tax compliance and planning
  • SMSF compliance and administration
  • Business advisory services to clients
  • Development of business advisory skills
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of current Public Practice experience in Australia
  • Completed Australian tertiary studies
  • Commenced or eligible to commence either CA or CPA
  • Experience in using Access Handisoft (preferable)
  • Experience in using BGL360 Simplefund (preferable)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
