Your Opportunity
We're seeking Home Care Support Specialists (PCAs) based in the South Adelaide area, covering Marion, Bedford Park, and Seacliff. As a PCA, you'll provide best practice personal, social, and emotional care to patients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities such as mobility, showering, dressing, and personal grooming, as well as assisting with meal preparation, transportation to appointments, shopping, and domestic duties within the home.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility to work shifts across the hours of 7 am to 9 pm. You'll be required to cover a 7-day roster and will be reimbursed for travel between patients, as well as paid additional penalties for weekend work.

What Sets You Apart?
To excel in this role, you should have recent experience (2+ years) in a similar position, ideally within a community setting. You must demonstrate compassion, integrity, and a patient-centered mindset, exhibiting strong cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication abilities. Additionally, you should be comfortable working autonomously and maintaining a schedule. Required qualifications include:

  • • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support • Current Working with Children or DCSI check (or willingness to obtain) • Current Drivers Licence & reliable vehicle • Certificates to provide First Aid and CPR • Covid19 vaccination and up-to-date Flu vax

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately AU$65,000 - AU$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
