Backend Storage Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Storage Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing high-performance, scalable, and resilient storage solutions on cloud infrastructure.

As a Backend Storage Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for developing distributed storage systems, APIs, and backend services that power mission-critical applications. You will ensure low-latency, high-throughput, and fault-tolerant data storage while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and improve storage efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop distributed storage systems and high-scale backend services.
  • Work with AWS cloud services, particularly S3, DynamoDB, EBS, EFS, FSx, or Glacier.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to drive performance tuning, data modeling, caching strategies, and cost optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to data integrity, latency spikes, and storage failures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services.
  • Strong programming skills in Kotlin.
