About the Role

Netball Queensland is seeking a skilled Senior Data Systems Developer to join its team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain data systems, dashboards, and pipelines that drive business insights.

This position involves developing robust data pipelines to efficiently collect, process, and store large datasets from various sources. The successful candidate will create and maintain structured and unstructured databases, ensuring data accessibility, security, and organization.

The Senior Data Systems Developer will work closely with other teams to integrate data from different internal and external sources, ensuring seamless and accurate data flow. They will also develop and maintain ETL processes using open-source tools or custom-code solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience designing and normalizing relational schemas and databases.
  • Experience with data pipeline tools and ETL frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data storage solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages SQL and Python.
