Senior Marketing Professional

As a senior marketing professional, you will report directly to the general manager and work closely with the senior management team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our strategic objectives and promotes our values, services, and vision across the community.
This hands-on role encompasses all aspects of brand management, digital marketing, event coordination, media relations, and grant submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of a marketing and communications plan that drives business results.
- Oversee the organization's branding and digital presence, including its website, social media, and promotional materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, local networks, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Create and coordinate community engagement strategies and fundraising events that foster partnerships and drive growth.
- Manage and produce newsletters, press releases, annual reports, and key publications that showcase the organization's achievements.
- Support the general manager in securing grants and funding proposals that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Ensure that all marketing activities comply with relevant laws, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness, analyze data, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Proven experience in a marketing or communications management role with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in content creation and media liaison.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, events, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience in the community services or not-for-profit sector is highly desirable.
- Graphic design and basic web content editing skills are advantageous.
