We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Trolley Collection and Store Cleaning Assistant.

About the Role

This role involves working in a collaborative environment to ensure trolleys are available for use and that our stores are clean and well-maintained. You will work across various departments to deliver specific cleaning needs, provide excellent customer service, and participate in physically demanding tasks such as sweeping and collecting trolleys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping shop floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms: Ensure a high level of cleanliness throughout the store, paying close attention to detail.
  • Collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas on foot: Demonstrate physical fitness and ability to work in different environments.
  • Working across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Assisting customers by answering questions or providing directions: Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a professional manner.
  • Receiving full training in operating various equipment and tools: Develop new skills and knowledge to enhance job performance.
Requirements
  • Ambitious mindset, love of retail, and passion for people: Demonstrate a positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a retail environment.
  • Physical fitness for physically demanding tasks: Show evidence of physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting loads between 5-10kgs.
  • Flexibility to work in different environments: Be adaptable and able to work in varying settings, including early morning and evening shifts.
  • Availability to work Monday-Sunday with shifts starting from 6am or 5pm: Show flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs.
  • Good eye for cleanliness and small details: Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
