Electrification Services Business Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Electrification Services Business Leader to drive the growth and success of our Electrification Services business segment in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve sales volume, market share growth, service delivery, revenue, costs, and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive sales growth, improve market share, and increase revenue.
  • Analyse customer activity, monitor market trends, and identify new business opportunities to inform future-oriented strategies.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including account managers, portfolio experts, tendering, engineering, finance, and project delivery teams, to ensure successful pull-through of services offerings on new equipment installs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and key suppliers by being responsive, trustworthy, and reliable.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of services according to best practices.
  • Lead the Electrification Services business segment and manage related staff.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • No less than 15 years' experience in field service operations, preferably in electrification and power distribution domains.
  • Solid understanding of business and financial management, with sound commercial acumen.
  • Strong experience dealing with regional and international customers and understanding their investment and buying behaviour.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to develop opportunities with strong customer orientation.
  • Demonstrated experience building high-performing teams and navigating challenges that arise in service projects.
  • Product and system knowledge of medium & low-voltage switchgear, energy system protection and automation, and inverter systems is highly valued.
  • Must be open to domestic and international travel for at least 30% of your time and have intercultural experience and sensitivity.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$140,000 - AU$200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment. The role will be based in either our Sydney office at North Ryde or Melbourne office at Bayswater.
