
Volunteer Fire Support Assistant

The auxiliary firefighter position plays a pivotal role in supporting public safety efforts by providing emergency incident response, participating in regular drills and training sessions, and contributing to community education activities.
As an auxiliary firefighter, you will be part of a team that operates specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner. You will also promote community safety and emergency preparedness through contributions to community education activities.
To excel in this role, you must develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and other relevant training courses provided by QFES. Additionally, you must maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
