Fire and Emergency Response Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join the emergency services as a Fire and Emergency Response Professional. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety, and developing your skills through regular drills and training.

Key Requirements
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of an emergency station
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness
  • Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training
  • Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment
  • Contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities
  • Ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities
  • Contribute to incident reporting and general station administration
  • Promote a positive team approach
  • Comply with legislative, policy, and procedural requirements
  • Communicate effectively with personnel and the general community
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment
