Emergency Medicine Consultant Role

About the Opportunity

Geraldton Health Campus is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join their team. As a key member of the department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality emergency services to Geraldton and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervising junior medical staff and trainees
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A strong background in emergency medicine and hospital practice
  • Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent
  • Substantial postgraduate medical experience
