Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill this challenging and rewarding position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients presenting with emergency conditions, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
  • Substantial postgraduate medical experience in emergency medicine and hospital practice.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. A satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required; offers are conditional on PEHA results. WWC checks are required. We welcome applications from Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs). SIMGs must be open to supervised placement at another site before relocating to Geraldton, with a strong commitment to completing supervision and transitioning to a long-term role in Geraldton.
