We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to assist with settlements, pre-sale reviews, and document preparation in the Banking & Finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtaining title, ASIC, and PPSR searches;
- Preparing documentation for settlements;
- Preparation and review of PPSR releases;
- Drafting loan documents and other legal documents;
- Maintaining PEXA workspaces;
- Assisting with trust settlements;
- Assisting with pre-sale reviews;
- Attending paper settlements (external) when required;
- Preparing internal and external correspondence;
- Assisting with fee estimates;
- Maintaining client securities;
- Managing files, including invoicing and filing;
- Performing general administrative tasks.
- At least 12 months' property-related or legal administration experience in a law firm or conveyancing company;
- Self-motivated and deadline-driven individual with problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills;
- High attention to detail and accuracy;
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
- Proven knowledge and experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel (formulas and organization).
