Maritime Program Manager Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team in Canberra and take on the challenge of leading a small project team to assist in advancing and implementing programmatic naval capability. As a Maritime Program Manager, you will work closely with senior naval personnel and provide expert advice on program management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with stakeholders to support engagement in delivering programs embedded across the maritime domain;
  • Exercise negotiation skills to manage priorities and deadlines;
  • Build and lead a small team of specialist contractors to advance program activities;
  • Support coordination and collaboration to deliver improved programmatic/program management across navy capability;
  • Demonstrate professional development in Managing Successful Programs (MSP);
  • Review program/project performance and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Coordinate reporting requirements and work with stakeholders to ensure timely information provision;

About Our Team:

The Maritime Domain Support Office (MDSO) is responsible for enabling decision making, planning, and delivery of maritime domain capability effects and support to the Joint Force. As part of this team, you will be working towards the vision of improving joint force capabilities.
