Care Worker Opportunity in Port Macquarie

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Port Macquarie.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with older members of our community, providing them with the support and care they need to live independently at home for longer. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as domestic assistance, meal preparation, and personal care.
The successful candidate will have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is part of the role. You will also be required to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
Key Responsibilities- Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people so they have a safe and beautiful place to live
- Assisting with Meal Preparation and Shopping
- Providing Social Support and Transport to Lifestyle Activities
- Personal Care: Getting clients up, showered, and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
- Providing Respite and Emotional Support
- Social Support and Transport to Appointments
- Award rate $30.61 per hour + Super + Paid KM's + Phone Allowance
