About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Dewatering Technician to join our team at the Laverton Gold Operation mine restart. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient dewatering of the mine.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and removal of dewatering infrastructure, including sumps, trenches, pipes, and pumps.
- Carry out preventative maintenance of the dewatering system, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct fault-finding, diagnosis, and repair of damaged pumps and dewatering infrastructure.
- Review and assess maintenance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing modern technologies.
- Prioritize resources and coordinate unplanned work, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
