Job Overview

We are seeking skilled instructors to deliver electrical trades training at a leading educational institution. This permanent full-time role is based at our Dubbo campus.

About the Role

This instructor will lead and enhance the learning process, sharing their extensive industry experience with students. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. The successful candidate must hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent qualification.
  2. A current Electrical Contractors Licence or Electrical Supervisor Certificate issued in NSW is required.
  3. The instructor should have a minimum of five years post-qualification experience in the electrical trades industry, gained within the last five years.
  4. Evidence of holding teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training is essential.
  5. The instructor must be willing to continue developing their Vocational Education and Training knowledge and skills, as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Requirements

  • Subject matter expertise in electrical trades is necessary for this role.
  • Proven experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment is essential.
  • A current Electrical Contractors Licence or Electrical Supervisor Certificate issued in NSW is required.
