Water Treatment Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our operations team in Rockhampton. The ideal candidate will have experience operating wastewater treatment systems and conducting routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.

The successful applicant will work closely with village maintenance and site teams to ensure smooth facility operations and support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across the site.

  • A Certificate III in Water Industry Operations is required, along with previous experience operating wastewater treatment plants, ideally in remote or industrial settings.
  • A sound understanding of Australian environmental and safety regulations relating to wastewater is essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating and monitoring wastewater treatment systems to meet environmental and safety standards.
  • Conducting routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.

  • Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience operating wastewater treatment plants, ideally in remote or industrial settings.
  • A sound understanding of Australian environmental and safety regulations relating to wastewater.
  • A current driver's licence and ability to pass site medicals and police checks.
