Digital Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Specialist to join our Development and Engagement team.

This role is responsible for creating and implementing digital fundraising initiatives to drive donations, retain supporters, and generate leads.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager to develop and execute digital content strategies that align with our organizational goals.

  • Create and upload social media content that engages our audience and promotes our mission.
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns (EDMs) to drive donations and supporter retention.
  • Explore new ways to support digital fundraising initiatives, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the field.
Requirements:
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and messaging that resonates with our audience.
  • Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, fostering strong relationships and building trust.
  • Shows initiative and self-motivation while working in a team environment, with a strong commitment to collaboration and open communication.
  • Ability to hold confidential information in a trustworthy manner, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Proficient at creating social media and digital advertising content, with experience using design software and content management systems.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Experience managing Google Grants and Funraisin, with a strong understanding of digital fundraising platforms and tools.
  • Experience working across and/or managing Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising channels, with a keen eye for creative execution and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to support the build of the bi-annual newsletter and appeal, with a focus on engaging storytelling and compelling visuals.
