Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Humanities Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach senior Humanities subjects such as Economics, History, or Geography, and Year 7-10 Humanities. This permanent position commences in January 2025.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Competitive remuneration and benefits are offered, including lunch supplied to staff through the school dining hall and discounted tuition fees for the children of staff enrolled at the College.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in establishing a safe, supportive learning environment that extends beyond the classroom.
- Commitment to pastoral care and wellbeing of each student.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Education.
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
