Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced talent acquisition specialist to lead our efforts in recruiting skilled blue-collar workers. In this role, you will develop and implement recruitment strategies, partner with hiring managers, and source candidates through various channels. You will also conduct screening and interviews, coordinate onboarding, and analyze recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract blue-collar talent, including technicians, tradespeople, and skilled laborers.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, create job descriptions, and define candidate profiles.
- Source candidates through job boards, networking, and partnerships with trade schools and industry associations.
- Conduct screening and interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition with a focus on blue-collar recruitment.
- Knowledge of best recruitment practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and assessment techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems for recruitment management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
