This is a temporary opportunity to work as a Senior Data Strategist. The role type is DCS Clerk Grade 11/12.
The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is undertaking an ambitious digital transformation of government services, underpinned by its Digital Government Strategy. As a member of our team, you will be part of cross-sector leadership and delivery of ICT infrastructure and digital service delivery reforms aligned to the NSW Government ICT Strategy.
About the Role- Design and deliver scalable data solutions using Snowflake and AWS Cloud.
- Oversee the development of robust data pipelines and business intelligence reporting tools.
- Set engineering standards, ensure data quality, and support strong data governance practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Mentor and support engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop data architectures that meet business requirements.
- Lead data integration projects and ensure data quality.
- Implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Experience in designing and delivering large-scale data solutions.
