Private Tax Services Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Private Tax Services Manager. The Opportunity

You will work closely with established and exciting client bases across various industries, helping them shape and enhance their business strategies. As part of a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, you'll be empowered to drive results and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of growth clients, including corporate groups, trusts, privately owned businesses, high net wealth families, and individuals.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for clients, collaborating with specialist teams to bring expertise in international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy, transactions, and employment taxes.
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to oversee tax compliance, preparation, and review of income tax returns, tax accounting calculations, financial statements, tax planning, employment taxes, and advisory services for extensive domestic and international client groups.
  • Delivering a full spectrum of taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including restructures, domestic and international transactions, ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • Supervising and mentoring the team, fostering career development, and promoting a positive team culture that celebrates successes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're seeking professionals with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, or Tax.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience providing tax compliance or business advisory services to a range of entities.
  • A genuine passion for helping clients and team members, with excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • A commitment to sharing experience and developing junior team members.
