Senior Tax Advisory Role

This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a key member of a dynamic team. As a senior tax advisor, you will collaborate with clients across various industries to help shape and enhance their business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of growth clients, including corporate groups, trusts, privately owned businesses, high net wealth families, and be the primary point of contact for these clients.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams to bring expertise to our clients in areas such as international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy, transactions, and employment taxes.
  • Oversee tax compliance, including preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations, financial statements, tax planning, employment taxes, and assisting on advisory services for domestic and international client groups.
  • Deliver a full spectrum of taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including restructures, domestic and international transactions, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • Supervise and mentor the team, fostering career development and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, or Tax
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience providing tax compliance or business advisory services to a range of entities
  • A genuine passion for helping clients and team members
  • Excellent client-facing skills with confidence to lead client meetings and build a network
  • Commitment to sharing experience to develop junior team members
  • High-level communication and engagement skills, ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a dynamic team
