Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Investigations Team as an Investigations Specialist. As part of this role, you will be responsible for reviewing claims referred to the Investigations team and determining whether further investigation is warranted.

You will conduct thorough investigations, including desktop investigations and telephone interviews, to gather information and provide advice and assistance to internal stakeholders.

Your expertise in interviewing persons suspected of suspicious activity and/or victims of crime will be essential in ensuring that investigations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

In addition to your investigative skills, you will also be required to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, adhering to company guidelines and regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in investigations, with a strong background in general insurance. Travel insurance specific experience is highly desirable.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Shared Services Team Leader to achieve our business objectives and contribute to the growth and development of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations into suspected unusual or suspicious claims, activity or trends
  • Provide advice and assistance to internal stakeholders
  • Review claims referred to the Investigations team
  • Conduct telephone interviews and gather information
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in investigations
  • Experience interviewing persons suspected of suspicious activity and/or victims of crime
  • Strong background in general insurance
  • Excellent attention to detail and planning skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Desirable: investigations or insurance related qualifications
