About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at JJ's Waste & Recycling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a waste collection vehicle, servicing multiple customer sites in the Mareeba / Tablelands area.

With a focus on customer satisfaction and safety, you will work closely with our depot team to ensure timely and reliable service delivery. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

About You
  • You hold a current HR license and have experience operating a range of heavy vehicles, including side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift, tanker or front lift trucks.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • You are committed to safety and have a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work hours and schedules.
  • You are willing to undergo pre-employment medical and drug testing, and provide your last 5 years' traffic history at interview stage.
