About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at JJ's Waste & Recycling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a waste collection vehicle, servicing multiple customer sites in the Mareeba / Tablelands area.

With a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest standards of safety compliance, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment that values the contributions of every employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a waste collection vehicle, safely and efficiently, to service multiple customer sites
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety compliance, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Current HR license (with experience)
  • Side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift, tanker or front lift truck experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided)
  • Ability to structure runs and have an excellent rapport with customers
  • Commit to JJ's Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity
  • Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
