Job Opportunity: Waiting Staff

We are currently seeking a part-time, permanent or casual waiting staff member to join our team at Sushi Train Unley.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The job involves serving customers, taking orders, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of people, including management, colleagues, and customers. We promote a positive and supportive work environment where teamwork and communication are valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Taking orders accurately and promptly.
  • Handling cash transactions and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area and kitchen.
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service and seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Prior experience in the food service industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lift 20kg regularly and push/pull heavy loads occasionally.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
