The company's client is seeking a Claims Coordinator to join their Maintenance team in Burswood. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the processing and submission of claims is completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring administrative and support processes are adhered to in line with quality systems and processes.
  • Completing administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Storing information and documentation safely in accordance with policy, taking into account confidentiality and security requirements.
  • Generating reports as required and meeting specified timeframes and quality standards.
  • Processing invoices, claims, and job orders to ensure compliance with standards and seeking approval in line with contract requirements.
  • Signing off completed work orders and submitting claims in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining an effective filing system.
  • Providing administrative support for projects as needed.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and programs implemented.
  • Providing feedback and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to assist the Manager improve results in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Supporting cultural initiatives and programs implemented.
  • Identifying hazards in the workplace and assisting in mitigating or eliminating them.
  • Ensuring required compliance-based activities are undertaken in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Required skills include:

  • Strong organisational capabilities with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Sound computer skills and proficiency with data entry.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate Office skills in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience with Navision business management software or equivalent.
