Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team at Telstra. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering innovative software products and solutions that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy specific technologies and their interaction with Telstra processes and systems as part of Agile teams.
  • Achieve a well-defined, functioning, and repeatable set of key technology processes to ensure consistent quality is maintained.
  • Perform application performance, load analysis, and capacity planning as required to support the solution.
  • Manage/lead support in a DevOps model for the maintenance of applications in the production and pre-production environments.
  • Project estimation, planning, sequencing, dependency management, and deep technical input to formal project management processes.
  • Review and integrate application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
  • Contribute to the design of new application features and innovate to lift team standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with stakeholders as required.
