Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team at Telstra. As a key member of our Agile team, you will design, build, and deliver innovative software products and solutions that delight our customers.

This role will ensure new features developed for Telstra Media initiatives are aligned to our cloud-first strategy, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions in short time-to-market cycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, and improve specific technologies and their interaction with Telstra processes and systems.
  • Achieve a well-defined, functioning, and repeatable set of key technology processes to ensure consistent quality.
  • Perform application performance, load analysis, and capacity planning as required to support the solution.
  • Manage/lead support in a DevOps model for the maintenance of applications in production and pre-production environments.
  • Project estimation, planning, sequencing, dependency management, and deep technical input to formal project management processes.
  • Review and integrate application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
  • Contribute to the design of new application features and innovate to lift team standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with stakeholders as required and contribute to best practices in the operation of the team.
