Vehicle Accessory Technician

Pursuing a career as a vehicle accessory technician is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and are passionate about delivering exceptional results. This role involves fitting or stripping accessories and equipment in client cars and motorbikes, providing a high level of quality finish to each vehicle.
As a vehicle accessory technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and surveys to ensure vehicles meet the required standards. You will also be involved in safe manoeuvring of vehicles within the workshop and compound, adhering to good housekeeping practices and ensuring vehicles are parked in compliance with customer needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A manual driver's license is essential for this role
- Skilled in hand and power tools, with a strong understanding of automotive parts and components
- Lifting and handling of automotive parts requires physical stamina and attention to detail
- A strong safety-first mindset and ability to work as part of a team
- This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles and develop your skills in vehicle accessory fitments
- Mechanical or electrical aptitude is highly regarded in this field
- A police clearance is required for this position
- Experience in vehicle accessory fitments is beneficial but not essential
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is crucial
