 Vehicle Accessory Technician Opportunity

PrixCar Services specializes in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions, and Dealer Vehicle Storage. With over 25 depots across Australia, we are well-positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services.

We have a specialized fleet fitment branch and are committed to delivering high-quality services to the South Australian Police and wider Government Services industry.

 The Position Overview

We seek skilled professionals to fit or strip accessories and equipment on client vehicles. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical or electrical expertise and experience working on machinery or technical devices.

 

  • Fitting or removing accessories and equipment from vehicles
  • Installing radios, lights, and sirens
  • Adding electronic components
  • Inspecting and surveying vehicles for quality finish
  • Safely maneuvering vehicles within the compound and workshop
  • Maintaining good housekeeping practices
  • Ensuring vehicles are parked according to customer requirements

 The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid manual driver's license
  • Be skilled in using hand and power tools
  • Understand automotive parts and components
  • Be able to lift and handle automotive parts
  • Display strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
  • Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player with good communication skills
  • Pass a Police clearance check
