An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to take on a pivotal role within the Office of the Chief Executive at Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD). Your expertise will play a key part in shaping how NSLHD engages with the NSW Health system and local community.

Position Classification: Health Manager Level 2

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Business Partner will be responsible for managing Ministerial and Parliamentary products, Chief Executive correspondence, and other internal documents. This will involve complex requests, project work, and implementing initiatives to support the strategic direction and operation of the Executive Support Unit.

This role also involves providing training and guidance to staff across NSLHD, as well as developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the position will act as an escalation and review point for other team members, and provide leadership within the team where appropriate.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated work experience in a health system management role.
  • Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing complex correspondence, including ministerials, briefings, parliamentary correspondence, and senior executive correspondence in an accurate and timely manner with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of public sector accountabilities, the operation and developments in the NSW Health system, attuned political awareness, and understanding of NSW government processes.
  • Experience in project management and the development of policies and procedures, as well as the capacity to develop novel solutions to business issues.
