Meat Wrapper/Cleaner Job Description

Costco Wholesale is a leading global retailer with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meat Wrapper/Cleaner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and reassemble equipment, ensuring it is sanitized and ready for use.
  • Operate the automatic wrapping machine, following safety and security procedures.
  • Set the labeler according to product type and price, and apply labels to product.
  • Stock wrapped and labeled meat in display cases, using proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate the meat grinder, checking fat content of each batch and following proper department production procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize the area throughout the day, maintaining health code standards and proper temperatures.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
