About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our Elka Collective team at David Jones Adelaide. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of visual merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a Brand Ambassador, providing customers with a unique Elka Collective experience while maintaining excellent service standards and fostering a loyal clientele.
  • Actively sell on the shop floor, contribute to stores sales and KPI targets, and ensure product knowledge of apparel, footwear, and accessories.
  • Ensure store presentation is immaculate by adhering to visual merchandising standards, managing and replenishing stock, and maintaining a well-organised stock room.
  • Assist the Store Manager with various administration duties, including cleaning as required.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and embody the Elka Collective culture.

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a boutique environment.
  • Upbeat, energetic, and motivating, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and unforgettable shopping experiences.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to listen effectively and use feedback constructively.
