Job Opportunity: Mobile Plant Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trainer Assessor to join our team in delivering high-quality training and assessment services.

This is a permanent position with a challenging opportunity to work on an 8/6 or 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth to the Pilbara region in Western Australia.

As a Trainer Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments on mobile plant operators, specifically Loaders, Dump Trucks, and Dozers.

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering high-quality training and assessment services to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conducting practical assessments and theoretical evaluations to assess the competence of mobile plant operators.
  • Providing constructive feedback and guidance to operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, training outcomes, and individual development plans.
  • Collaborating with the training team to develop and update training materials and resources as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Recognised Trainer and Assessor certification.
  • Extensive experience in operating and assessing mobile plant equipment, particularly Loaders, Dump Trucks, and Dozers.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with trainees and provide feedback.
  • Organisational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
