Electrical Specialist - Mobile Plant Maintenance

The role of an Electrical Specialist is pivotal in ensuring optimal operational performance and reliability of heavy mobile equipment.

This critical position requires a high level of expertise and technical knowledge in automotive electrical technology.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues on complex mobile plant, including major OEMs such as Caterpillar (CAT), Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr and Terex.

Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues on mobile plant
  • Working with complex electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Implementing safety protocols to minimize risk
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve shared goals

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical principles and experience working with complex electrical systems.

A trade qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent is essential.

You will also require a range of skills and qualifications, including:

  • Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Air Conditioning
  • High Risk Licences - Forklift, EWP (willing to obtain)
  • Class C Manual Driver's Licence
  • National Police Check (Willing to obtain)
