About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to embark on a structured 12-month program that provides comprehensive training, mentorship, and support. Our graduate program is designed to foster growth, develop clinical skills, and equip you with the knowledge and confidence to become a competent registered nurse or midwife.
You will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional outcomes. This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact, develop your skills, and advance your career in the field of nursing and midwifery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with Mercy Health's standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and a culture of respect.
- Current registration as a Nurse and Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
