About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and progressive insurance team. You will be working directly for a pre-eminent insurance practitioner with a strong focus on innovation, team culture and personal development.

The role involves handling complex financial lines, professional indemnity, class actions and director and officers (D&O) matters from a defence and coverage perspective.

You will also have the opportunity to work with other members of the team, including Senior Associates and Special Counsel, and assist one of the senior lawyers in relation to construction and engineering professional indemnity disputes.

Our clients typically include large insurers (local and international), Lloyd's syndicates, and their insureds.

Key Skills & Experience
  • General insurance litigation, financial lines, professional indemnity experience is preferred but not essential.
  • You may also have a general commercial litigation background or construction litigation background and be interested in insurance.
  • Strong academic credentials, self-driven with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team, and develop your skills and expertise in a supportive environment.
