About The Role
Ventia has been engaged by the Department of Justice and Community Safety to provide integrated Facility Management services, incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams.
The Plumbers will play a key role in the team and operate across various facilities for planned, reactive, remedial, and ad-hoc maintenance activities.
We are also seeking Trade Assistants and Electrical/HVAC technicians to support these facilities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a multiskilled team for delivery of high-quality facility management and maintenance services.
- Complete planned maintenance activities across hydraulic systems associated with large commercial facilities.
- Identify and rectify equipment and plumbing infrastructure faults in a time-critical environment.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures, and respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
- Installation of minor plumbing infrastructure as needed.
- Work order management for all works completed within required timeframes.
- High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work.
About You
You will have qualifications and experience working as a Plumber in a time-critical environment with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance.
You will also possess:
- Licenced Plumber with experience in large facilities and associated hydraulic systems.
- Demonstrated experience in time-critical rectification and reporting.
- Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans.
- High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work.
- A current unrestricted drivers' licence.
- Be able to complete and pass a National Police Check and Medical.
- Be able to evidence full COVID vaccinations.
